PREMIER OKLAHOMA WHITETAIL HUNTING

THE WAURIKA DIVISION OFFERS A WIDE OPEN APPROACH TO HUNTING WHITETAILS

Along with the Caddo Division we are now offering trophy whitetail hunts at the 33,000 acre Waurika Division in southwestern Oklahoma. The Waurika Division offers a wide open approach to hunting whitetails.  You will be hunting large wheat fields, native grass draws and dry creek beds that funnel into these areas. Deer thrive on the ranch in some cases you will see 50 plus deer in a hunt. The genetics are here to produce trophy bucks that you can be proud to hang on your wall

We work very hard each year to create a better environment for mature trophy whitetail so that you may be more successful with your hunt. We have been working with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife to help us reach our optimum buck-to-doe ratio. Each year we reach our doe harvest goal set by department biologist and only harvest mature bucks to help reach our goal faster..

The ranch is set up to accommodate bow, muzzle-loader and rifle hunters.

DEER MANAGEMENT

We work very hard each year to create a better environment for mature trophy whitetail so that you may be more successful with your hunt. We have been working with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife to help us reach our optimum buck-to-doe ratio. Each year we reach our doe harvest goal set by department biologist and only harvest mature bucks to help reach our goal faster.

We have implemented a 16% protein feeding regiment with our deer herd to reach their maximum potential for health and growing antlers during the growing season. Food plots are planted yearly to provide our deer herd a winter food source.

The ranch has implemented many different agricultural crops over the last four years. Crops range from sorghum, millet, grazing corn and sunflowers in the spring and and summer. Wheat, rye and turnips are planted for fall and winter.  We have also added numerous smaller food plots in prime hunting areas.  The abundance of food allows hunters to see numerous deer during their hunt. The ranch has and continues to produce deer you can be proud to hang on your wall.  We are able to accommodate bow, muzzle-loader and rifle hunters. Doe only hunts are also available.
